problem
Adaptive damping was standard on many V12s and optional elsewhere. Accumulators and valve blocks age; the car does not become a tractor overnight without a reason.
It is not ABC. There is no hydraulic self-levelling circus. ADS switches damper current. When it fails it leaves you on the firm face, or weeps at the accumulators.
Look for seepage at the damper tops and the accumulators. A lamp on wants a scan, not four new shocks by reflex. After any work, the system wants a defined voltage — tired trunk batteries cause ghost ADS lamps.
