A window that has forgotten where it is will also halt the roof. Battery work is the usual trigger.
Hold the switch down past the stop, then up past the stop, on both doors. That re-teaches the Hall sensors. Do this after every battery disconnect.
Trunk fuse 1 (left) or 2 (right). Then the door-boot ribbon. Then the regulator — the Hall sensor lives in the motor and is not a happy separate part on most years.
